Launch a token

The form, the icon, the first buy, and what it costs.

Steps

  1. Pick a star from the list, or paste any wallet address.
  2. Name the token (up to 40 characters) and give it a ticker (2 to 11 characters, A–Z and 0–9).
  3. Optionally add a one-line description and an icon.
  4. Optionally set a first buy in ETH.
  5. Press Launch and confirm in the wallet.

The icon

Upload any image: the site shrinks it in your browser to a 128 px WebP of a few KB and sends it with the launch. It travels in the launch event, not in contract storage, which is why it costs cents rather than dollars, and it is capped at 24 KB. An https URL works too. Without an icon, the star's own picture is used.

The first buy

ETH sent beyond the creation fee is spent as a buy inside the launch transaction. That is the only way to be first on your own curve with certainty: there is no separate block in which someone else could buy before you. The summary shows the tokens you would receive and their share of supply.

Cost

LaunchGasAt 1 gwei
No icon, no first buy≈ 365,000≈ 0.0004 ETH
6 KB icon and a first buy≈ 641,000≈ 0.0006 ETH

Plus your first buy, if any. There is currently no creation fee; the owner can set one up to 0.05 ETH. The wallet shows the exact gas before you sign.

After launch

You control nothing. You cannot pause the curve, change the star, mint, or touch the pool. You earn nothing as creator beyond your own position; the fee share goes to the star. What you get is the first position and the token page.
